Diversity Wins: participating as an amateur club

Why this campaign?

Society has been witnessing increased polarisation in recent years, with different groups facing adversity. The growing number of incidents of discrimination and racism in society are tangible examples of this. Football, popular sport number one, is a mirror or even magnifying glass of society, and is consequently not spared from these incidents. Club Brugge, as a football organisation that reaches thousands of fans every day, continues to go the extra mile to keep all forms of discrimination out of football and show the red card to racism.

As part of the 'Give Racism The Red Card' initiative, Club Brugge Foundation is organising this campaign aimed at amateur clubs and youth teams. Together, we make our voices heard for a football world where discrimination and racism have no place.

Your team as ambassador?

We invite as many football clubs as possible to join us in showing the red card to racism and become ambassadors of our 'Give Racism The Red Card' campaign.

Register with your football club and show that racism and discrimination have no place at your club either. You can also win great prizes for your team by registering.

For whom?

Any football club, big or small, can register for this. You choose with how many (youth) teams you participate in this action, but of course preferably with all teams. These can be both youth and adult teams.

HOW can your football team participate?

  1. Register your club using the contact form below.
  2. We will send the desired number of 'red cards' to your football club by post. This red card also contains an explanation of this campaing and a Club Brugge 2021-2022 season team poster.
  3. Take a photo of your football club's players holding these red cards. Mail us these photos and feel free to post them on your own social media channels.
  4. Moreover, as a participant in this action, you will have the chance to win great prizes such as an equipment package, a Jan Breydel Stadium Tour for your entire football club, an autographed Club shirt, walking with one of your youth teams at the hand of the Club players at a home match, or a football clinic from one of our Club NXT coaches.
