The Club Brugge Amp Team is a special soccer team within the Club Brugge community aimed at athletes with an amputation. This team offers athletes with an amputation the opportunity to continue to pursue their passion for soccer at a high level. The initiative is part of Club Brugge's broader commitment to inclusion and diversity in the sports world. It is more than just a soccer team; it is a community committed to inclusion, empowerment and sporting excellence. We invite everyone to join our journey and work together to build a future where sport is accessible to all.
The Club Brugge Amp Team aims to give people with amputations the opportunity to actively participate in soccer, develop their skills and compete in national and international competitions. The team aims to create an environment where athletes feel supported and can reach their full potential.
By combining sport and community, the Club Brugge Amp Team aims to contribute to a world where everyone, regardless of physical limitations, has the opportunity to play sports and develop themselves. The team strives to increase the visibility and acceptance of athletes with disabilities within the sports world and beyond.
Training and Competitions
The Club Brugge Amp Team trains weekly on Thursday evenings at Club Brugge's facilities. Training sessions are led by qualified coaches experienced in adapted sports. The focus is on technique, tactics, and teamwork, as well as physical fitness and mental toughness.
The team participates in various worshops, formations, tournaments, and practice matches, both nationally and internationally. These activities not only provide players with the opportunity to test and improve their skills, but also to become part of a close-knit community of athletes.
Community involvement
In addition to providing sports opportunities to people with amputations, the Club Brugge Amp Team is also actively involved in community initiatives. The team works with local and national organizations to raise awareness about opportunities for people with disabilities within sports. They organize clinics, workshops and information sessions to inspire and motivate others.
Membership and Participation.
Anyone with an amputation interested in soccer, regardless of age or experience level, is welcome to join the team. The team encourages new members to participate in a trial training session to sample the atmosphere and explore the facilities. Are you interested in possibly meeting our Amp Team?
