Club Brugge Panna King brings young people together through the power of street soccer. With a mobile panna cage, Club Brugge Foundation travels to various neighborhoods in Bruges to get young people moving and connecting with each other in a low-threshold way.
The project creates meeting opportunities close to the living environment of young people and makes sport accessible to all. By bringing soccer to the neighborhood, Club Brugge Foundation wants to contribute to stronger neighborhoods, more social connection and a more active lifestyle.
More than a panna tournament
Panna King is about much more than winning or losing. Youngsters get the chance to show off their technical skills, challenge themselves and meet other participants in a positive environment. The tournaments provide a sporting experience while also creating new friendships, increased self-confidence and stronger bonds within the neighborhood.
For and by the neighborhood
The tournaments take place in different Bruges neighborhoods and are open to all young people, regardless of their origin or background. Thanks to its local anchoring, the project reaches young people who do not always find their way to a sports club as a matter of course.
In this way, Club Brugge Foundation lowers the threshold to sports and creates opportunities for meeting, integration and personal growth.
