Last Monday, some 250 Club Supporters descended on the Extra Time at the Jan Breydel Stadium for the supporters' evening of SFCB On Wheels. Soon the room filled up completely for players like Dedryck Boyata, Bjorn Meijer, Chemsdine Talbi and co.
So there was a lot to do beforehand. The evening started with a delicious spaghetti meal, for which you could register in advance. Meanwhile, attendees could also buy tombola tickets, which was eagerly done given the coveted prizes including several match worn shirts and an autographed Club Brugge ball.
Want to play a FIFA match against Rudi Ekmen, who has been defending Club's blue-and-black stripes in the ePro League for two years now? You could do that too! Just like having your picture taken with the three champions' cups. In short, the absentees were wrong. Of course, the highlight of the evening was the arrival of the players. There were 7 of them: Boyata, Meijer and Spileers from the A core, Audoor and Talbi from NXT and Ouzraoui and Abrahamsson from YLA. After all the fans present could have their pictures taken and printed out to take home, there was also time for some autographs.
SFCB On Wheels
The supporters' evening was organized by SFCB On Wheels, in cooperation with Club Brugge Foundation. Blauw-Zwart was therefore also able to welcome quite a few supporters in wheelchairs to the supporters' evening. Supporters' club SFCB On Wheels ensures that people in wheelchairs can also participate in the soccer experience, both at the Jan Breydel Stadium and when travelling.
