Today, the new season was officially kicked off with the very first training session at the Basecamp.
In the morning, several physical and medical tests were scheduled, followed by an outdoor training session of approximately an hour and a half in the afternoon. Most of the players are now present in Westkapelle; only the international players will rejoin the squad later this summer.
Goalkeepers De Corte and Vanden Driessche were present for the first training. Among the outfield players, Romero, Osuji, Spileers, Seys, Sabbe, Siquet, Vetlesen, Lynnt Audoor, Sandra, Nielsen, Skoras, Campbell, Vermant, Furo, Goemaere, Bisiwu, Verlinden, Lund Jensen, McDonnell, Yameogo, Et-Taïbi, Amengai, Delorge, and Gomez van Hoogen all took to the pitch.
From this week onwards, training resumes at the Basecamp. The first friendly match is scheduled for Saturday, when we host KV Kortrijk for the opening pre-season game. The first four friendly matches will be available to watch for free and live on DAZN.
