Club Brugge is proud to participate in the May 8, 9 and 10 "Football for All" campaign, through which the Pro League and all Belgian professional clubs are working to increase inclusion, respect and equality of the LGBTQIA+ community within and around football.
During the home game against STVV next Saturday, our skipper will proudly wear the rainbow captain's armband as a visible statement. Also at Club YLA, during the match against Standard Fémina, this message will be carried out on the field.
With this action, we underline together that football is for everyone. Regardless of gender, gender identity, expression or sexual orientation, every player, supporter and employee should feel welcome and respected. In our stadiums, within our Club and beyond.
As a Club, we take our responsibility in this. Together with the Pro League and its clubs, we continue to work against any form of discrimination, including LGBT and transphobia, racism and inequality. We speak out against any form of discrimination and continue to build an environment where everyone can be themselves.
This campaign is part of a broader commitment around inclusion and respect within Club Brugge. Anyone confronted with discriminatory or inappropriate behavior during the game can easily report it via https://nietmetons.clubbrugge.be/ or via the QR code on his or her seat. This is how we work together to create a safe and respectful football environment, where everyone can be themselves.
