Last Sunday, the Club Brugge - KAA Gent match was all about 'The Warmest Match', the action from the whole Club Brugge family in favor of 'De Warmste Week'. The Club fans showed their warm hearts en masse. All actions together raised 26,877.40 euros!
De Warmste Week, VRT's big solidarity action, is descending on Bruges from Monday, Dec. 18, through Dec. 24. The home match Club Brugge - KAA Gent, the day before the start of The Warmest Week, was transformed into "De Warmste Wedstrijd". Under the approving eye of the presentators of The Warmest Week - Eva De Roo, Robin Keyaert, Sander Gillis and Sam De Bruyn - various actions from all corners of the Club family were organized to support projects that help children grow up without worries.
Club fans show massive blue-black heart
Youth players from Club NXT and players from Club YLA had taken on the challenge of selling 1891 blue flame pins, the symbol of The Warmest Week, around the stadium. The available supply of pins were completely sold out even before kickoff!
The Supporters Federation of Club Brugge donated the entire proceeds from supporters' canteen Extra Time in full to The Warmest Week. The Christmas market stalls of Club Brugge Foundation and North Fanatics sold all kinds of goodies for charity.
The pronostics in the VIP restaurants went to the DWW fund. An SMS action was used to raffle off the kickoff. The 11-year-old Charles was the lucky winner and got to kick off together with the 4 presenters. And Club's player group also made a contribution to this warm action.
