Reactions after Club-OH Leuven

Jupiler Pro League

Felix Lemaréchal: "I am happy with my first appearance in the starting eleven"

Felix Lemaréchal was handed a starting place for the home fixture against OH Leuven. "I'm very happy with my first appearance in the starting eleven and I thought it was a pretty good performance from my part, although I'm still adjusting. I feel better every day and that is starting to pay off. I knew beforehand that this wouldn't be an easy game. I knew beforehand that it wouldn't be easy for me to slot straight into a team that’s already performing at such a high level."

"We knew beforehand that tonight's match would not be easy, but we got the three points. Now we look ahead to our match at Madrid. If we play well, anything is possible."

Hugo Siquet: "We pulled it over the line"

Whether it was a penalty kick for OH Leuven or not, Hugo Siquet could not say for sure immediately after the match without seeing the footage. "I am happy that I was able to contribute in this match, especially with some good crosses, still one of my main qualities. We dominated the match, created a lot of chances and eventually pulled it over the line. Despite having some different players at the start, we still clicked and created a lot of chances. All in all, we can still be satisfied with the match and certainly with the result."

Hans Vanaken: "I'm glad we kept the three points at home"

Captain Hans Vanaken shares Hugo Siquet's opinion: "When you face this kind of match in between two Champions League top matches, you always have to be on your guard. The result is crucial, and I am especially happy that we were able to keep the three points at home."
