Heading for Madrid for the return match against Atlético, our players boarded the plane today. Find out the full program for the trip!
The players were expected at 09:00 at Basecamp, where a communal breakfast was scheduled. At 10:30, the boots were put on for a final training session on Belgian soil. After lunch, the players and staff headed to Ostend airport, with the flight to Madrid scheduled at 15:00. After a two-hour flight, Club Brugge will set foot on Spanish soil.
After landing, the players immediately head for the Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium where a walk and subsequent press conference are scheduled. The press chat with our coach and Joel Ordóñez can be watched afterwards on YouTube.
After a first visit to the stadium, the squad heads to the hotel to continue their preparations for the game.
Tuesday morning a light mobilization session is scheduled, followed by lunch, rest in the rooms and a team meeting. At 16:50, the player group will leave the hotel for the stadium.
