This month, Europe was blue and black thanks to Club NXT: from an international tournament in Delfzijl with our U13, to a prestigious practice match of Club NXT U16/U17 against Olympique de Marseille U16/U17 and as absolute icing on the cake: Club NXT U19 eliminating AS Monaco U19 in the round of 32 of the UEFA Youth League. We look back and look ahead: you will also find out who our U19 will face in the round of 16.

Club NXT U19 will continue in Europe and travel to MŠK Žilina on February 25!
Club NXT U19 staged a fantastic comeback against AS Monaco U19 at The NEST. After an early 0-2 deficit, Blauw-Zwart showed tremendous character and turned the match around to a 3-2 victory. Tobias Lund Jensen and Laurens Goemaere provided the goals. Club NXT U19 thus deservedly advanced to the next round in the UEFA Youth League.
Club NXT U16/U17 - Olympique de Marseille U16/U17
A mix of Club NXT U16/U17 took on Olympique de Marseille in a friendly match at The NEST. This encounter took place prior to the Champions League duel between Club Brugge and Olympique de Marseille at fort Jan Breydel.
The match ended 1-2 in favor of Marseille, in what was another learning experience for our boys!
Club NXT U13 wins 2nd place in Delfzijl
Club NXT U13 took part in the international tournament Eurocup Delfzijl in January, where they had a strong and instructive weekend. The team grew in every match, showed nice steps and played themselves into the spotlight. This eventually earned them a handsome second place. They took on tough opponents such as Sporting CP, Feyenoord, FC Groningen, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool FC. In the final awaited FC Bayern, who proved just a little stronger, allowing Club NXT U13 to finish the tournament with a more than deserved second place.
