non-wheelchair-bound

A home match at the Jan Breydel Stadium, every fan experiences this in his or her own way. Club Brugge Foundation therefore provides various facilities for fans with physical and/or mental disabilities.

Supporters with mental and/or physical disabilities (not wheelchair-bound) can use compartments 115 and 116 at the Jan Breydel Stadium. The stewards coordinating this section have received special training to provide the necessary adapted service and guidance.

  • Visually impaired fans
Every home match at the Jan Breydel Stadium, a service of audio description is provided for blind and visually impaired supporters in our blind grandstand. Two specially trained commentators provide extra detailed match coverage throughout the match. The blind and visually impaired supporters receive a headset at the start of the match with which they can follow the match coverage. For practical reasons, we prefer to centralise the seats for the blind stand in stands 111 and 112 in the West Lower Stand. This is to enable proper reception of the audio description, distribution of the headset and correct description of the match situation.

  • Fans with hearing impairments
In 2022, the fan group Deaf Club Brugge Fans was created. This new fan group aims to reach and connect club fans who are deaf or hard of hearing in their passion for Club Brugge.
