Club Brugge's blind stand is designed to make match coverage as adapted as possible to enable blind and visually impaired supporters to follow the game.
At each home match, there are two specially trained commentators present in the press stand who provide a detailed match report throughout the entire game. The commentators provide much more details than football commentators, for example, from outlets like Sporza, such as the color of the players' shoes, the emotions in the stadium, and the position of a free kick.
How the blind stand works
Blind and visually impaired supporters can receive a headset upon entering sections 111 and 112 in exchange for an identification card. With this, they can follow the match report throughout the entire game. After the end of the match, supporters return their headsets and receive their identification card back.

Support as a friends of the blinds
Collect plastic caps & thus support this initiative. You can help the Bruges blind stand and the Friends of the Blind organisation by collecting plastic caps. Club Brugge will collect the caps and deliver them to Friends of the Blind. The proceeds from the caps are expressed per kilogram. One kilogram brings in about 0.30 euro, which converts to 300 euro per 1,000 kg. The full training of a guide dog requires 83,333 kg of plastic caps. You can bring in all caps at the FCB Kaffee in the Jan Breydel Stadium on any weekday, except Mondays and match days Read here more and help support Club Brugge's blind stand!
