750 students enter health contract with Bibi and A-core players

SCORING FOR HEALTH

Last week, Bibi paid an unexpected visit to all 36 classes from 11 schools in and around Bruges that are enrolled in the Foundation project Scoring for Health, representing 750 pupils. In this project the pupils enter into a contract with the players of our A-core to start living healthier: more exercise and healthier food. Club Brugge's Foundation offers a ready-made teaching package for this purpose to the participating schools.

SIGNING CONTRACT WITH PLAYERS CLUB BRUGGE

As part of this project, Bibi visited all classes late last week to personally hand over the contract, signed by Vanaken, Nielsen and Rits, among others, to the students. They each signed a contract with the players confirming their motivation to exercise more and eat healthier. How will they do this? Through the Club Brugge Foundation curriculum, they learn all about healthy living in 15 lessons, both theoretical and practical.

"Whether the students were surprised? Without a doubt! As soon as the mascot bear Bibi appeared we saw a lot of surprised, happy and enthusiastic faces." - teacher Kim from Sacred Heart School.

"As an extra, before each lesson we try to forward a fun and personal video of one of the A-core players or players to the teacher to show in class. This way we try to motivate them even more by setting a good example and showing the golden advice of the players and players" - Barbara, project supervisor Club Brugge Foundation.

So this school year's Scoring for Health project was officially kicked off with a visit from Bibi and the signing of the contracts. As icing on the cake, the students received a personal message from Hans Vanaken to motivate them and wish them success! The lessons start and we immediately begin with a fun practical lesson: the kick-off in the Jan Breydel Stadium where students will take sports tests, get a workshop on healthy food and of course can fully indulge in the fundorp with bouncy castles and much more.

SCOREN VOOR GEZONDHEID

Vorige week bracht Bibi een onverwacht bezoekje aan alle 36 klassen uit 11 scholen in en rond Brugge die ingeschreven zijn in het Foundation project Scoren voor Gezondheid, goed voor 750 leerlingen. In dit project gaan de leerlingen een contract aan met de spelers van onze A-kern om gezonder te gaan leven: meer bewegen en gezonder eten. De Foundation van Club Brugge biedt hiervoor een kant-en-klaar lessenpakket aan voor de deelnemende scholen.

CONTRACT TEKENEN MET SPELERS CLUB BRUGGE

In het kader van dit project ging Bibi eind vorige week langs bij alle klassen om het contract, ondertekend o.a. door Vanaken, Nielsen en Rits, persoonlijk te komen afgeven aan de leerlingen. Zij tekenen elk een contract met de spelers waarbij ze hun motivatie bevestigen om meer te gaan bewegen en gezonder te gaan eten. Hoe gaan ze dit doen? Via het lessenpakket van Club Brugge Foundation leren ze in 15 lessen, zowel theoretisch als praktisch, alles over gezond leven.

"Of de leerlingen verrast waren? Zonder twijfel! Zodra de mascottebeer Bibi verscheen zagen we heel wat verwonderde, blije en enthousiaste gezichten." - leerkracht Kim uit Heilig hartschool.

"Als extra proberen we voor elke les een leuk en persoonlijk filmpje van één van de A-kern spelers of speelsters door te sturen naar de leerkracht om te tonen in de les. Zo proberen we hen nog meer te motiveren door het goede voorbeeld te geven en de gouden raad van de spelers en speelsters te laten horen" - Barbara, projectbegeleider Club Brugge Foundation.

Het project Scoren voor Gezondheid van dit schooljaar is dus officieel afgetrapt met een bezoek van Bibi en het ondertekenen van de contracten. Als kers op de taart kregen de leerlingen een persoonlijke boodschap van Hans Vanaken om hen te motiveren en succes te wensen! De lessen gaan van start en we beginnen direct met een leuke praktische les: de kick-off in het Jan Breydelstadion waar leerlingen sportproefjes zullen afleggen, een workshop krijgen rond gezonde voeding én uiteraard zich volledig kunnen uitleven in het fundorp met springkastelen en veel meer.
