Jano Willems went through the youth training at Blauw-Zwart and signed his first professional contract at Blauw-Zwart in 2022.
On January 27, 2023, he made his debut for Club NXT in First Division B. Shortly thereafter, he received his first starting spot and scored his first goal in the promotion playoffs against RSCA Futures on March 3, 2023.
