Racism and discrimination are still present in our society as well as in soccer. At Club Brugge, we see diversity just as an asset. In our dressing room, with players of different backgrounds and nationalities, we experience the power of difference every day.

With Diversity Wins, we use that power to inspire and empower young people and their environment. We make difficult topics discussable and translate them into awareness, dialogue and concrete behavior.

Because real change starts with conversation.

One project, two audiences

Diversity Wins targets two groups that play a key role in how young people think and act:

• Secondary schools
  Students and teachers engage in an interactive curriculum around diversity, racism and inclusion.
• Amateur soccer clubs
  Trainers and coaching staff receive practical tools to create an inclusive and respectful team culture.

In this way, we work simultaneously on the future (young people) and their environment (coaches).

Our ambition?

With Diversity Wins, we want to:

• make racism and discrimination negotiable
• strengthen young people in their dealings with diversity
• support role models in their role model function
• Build respectful and inclusive environments

With Diversity Wins, we form one team, with one goal: a society where everyone feels respected.
